Description
Bird humanoids who roam many of the deep forests. Skrishaw are an average of five feet tall, and have a nearly twelve foot wingspan. They have bird proportioned feet. Their bodies are covered entirely with feathers. These feathers are normally different shades of brown, while the head is a light shade of blue, red, or white.
Gender Differences
There is no real way to tell the difference in the skrishaw genders. The only real known way is that it is believed females are smaller and are not as muscular as the males.
Habitat
On the face of cliffs, and deep in the forests. They despise cold weather and areas barren of vegetation.
Mannerisms
Skrishaw do not like trespassers who enter their chosen territory, and will dive at the traveler, ripping him with their claws. They are normally hostile to anyone near their territory, but once they leave their territory, such as a young one flying far from the nest, they are shy, and somewhat friendly.
Strengths
Read abilities. They have amazing endurance when it comes to flight times. They can also carry heavy loads in their claws without appearing to be bothered too much.
Weaknesses
They despise any extreme in temperature. Such as too hot or too cold. They hate fire and water both, having to care for their feathers.
Abilities
They have small needle like pins growing within their wings, much like a porcupine. When they fly above their opponent, they can toss their wings a certain way to dislodge several of these pins like throwing needles at their opponent.
They cannot speak any language, nor speak telepathically. They can, however, make odd screeching noises.
Life Span
Skrishaw have a short lifespan of only about 100 years.
