Scergs are the evil force that dwells in Aztersil. They have been known to be nearly seven feet tall, and none are below six feet tall. Their flesh is as black as their hearts and reputation. The flesh is either a deep onyx black, or a lighter, almost lavender shade. All are muscular and have long pointed ears much like the elves. They have horns curving from their heads in many different fashions. They can appear like deer or elk antlers, to the curved horns of goats and rams. The scergs eyes are many different colours, and always seem to glow. Their eyes are red, black, and other such colours. They have no pupils, and no white parts to their eyes. They have been known to have claws, and to even not have fingertips, but the finger bone grows straight out the tip of the finger several inches to form long white claws. They have shark like teeth, though some have been known to have thinner, needle like sharp teeth.
They can have hair, though it is not uncommon for them to be bald. Their hair is always a dark colour, though it is sometimes white. They also can have spikes over their bodies, though do not have huge spines, only small spikes along their shoulders etc.
Scergs have no relations with any of the other races on Aztersil. Scergs themselves have a very dark society. All that are seen as weak in their society are killed once that weakness is seen. Only the strong are allowed to live in the scerg world. Their government is ruled by the one deemed the strongest of the race at that time. His life is constantly on a razor's edge, for everyone will follow him, but also wish him dead so that they can be deemed the strongest and take control. Scergs normally stick to their land in Antangil. When scergs turn 80, they are deemed old enough to be called adults, and are collected. All of the scergs who range from the age of 80-90 every ten years are gathered together and sent out of the Antangil in a band. Their mission is to raid a village anywhere in Aztersil, and return with slaves. Only then they will be deemed adults and ready to enter the armies and join the society. During this time, young scergs will take care of old arguments. Normally, far few scergs return than when left.
Scergs are hated all over the world of Aztersil, and if a raiding party is seen, they will be tracked and killed. That is, if the scergs don't get their trackers first
Black Hearts
Female scergs have female proportions, and tend to have a less muscular build and thinner horns. Males are much more muscular, have male proportions, and have thick horns.
Love is almost unheard of in the scerg society. They care only for taking control of more land. They understand they must reproduce to survive, but that is all that is cared about in this area.
Scergs are pure evil. (There are exceptions to this, but they are VERRY rare) They thrive on disorder and death. They have built their city deep in the lands of Antangil, the wasteland. It is said that before the scergs build in Antangil, it was a land of fruitful plenty ness, but the presence of such evil sucked the life from the lands. They are backstabbers, even to their own kind. Though they follow their leaders, they hold no loyalty to them. They travel in bands only because they know they need the backup of the other scergs, but nothing else. If there comes a chance that one can kill his partner without suffering consequence, it will be done. Scergs are, on the whole, sadistic, arrogant, cruel, destructive, hedonistic, and treacherous.
The armor of the scergs tends to be covered in razor edges and spikes to make even close quarter fighting or touching deadly. They enjoy wearing capes to cover hidden weapons strapped onto the back of their armor.
The scergs only have one god. He is called Maldazzar among them. Maldazzar is the god of everything evil (though the dresall believe this is just another form of Ziga) in the scerg world. They regularly kill and sacrifice to him. These sacrifices come in the form of deaths when on a raid, or sacrificing the second born son of every female scerg to him.
Scergs have a mild shape shifting ability. They can take the form of any race for one hour. They must first have seen the one they wish to take the form of, and if they want to mimic the voice, have heard them as well. Scergs cannot change from one form to another, but must first change back to their original scerg form, then take on a new form. They can hold the form for one hour. If they switch forms, the hour starts over again.
Scergs cannot take the form of monsters, nor can they take the form of plants, or inanimate objects. Once they have seen and heard the individual, they can take the form of the individual any time they wish, even years after they have seen and heard them. Scergs cannot take the form of other scergs Note: they do not gain the non physical abilities of the race they shift into.
The scerg fighting style is one that makes full use of their abilities. They get in close to their opponents, then go in for a quick clean kill. If they come against one that is obviously weaker than them, they tend to kill them slowly, tormenting their enemies to a very very slow death.
Their ability is their most powerful strength. Scergs spend years developing and mastering their fighting skills. When a child is born it is believed that as soon as they can walk, they can be trained to fight.
They are weak against any type of nature magic. Scergs also have sensitive hearing, thus any loud or very high-pitched sounds cause them great discomfort. Bright lights also have the same effect, blinding them for seconds and causing them great discomfort.

Rasorvan
Capital city of the scergs. Only scergs are allowed into this dreaded place, though it is swarming with slaves all races. The city itself is huge, though spans underground as well. Rivers of lava run around the city, creating an easy defendable location. Skyships crewed by the scergs bring in new slaves and goods.
Scerg lives are normally ended by death. They hardly ever live their full lives out to die of old age. As best estimated, their lives may last 300 to 400 years.
These classes are unique to the scergs only.
- Mergers: These scergs have spent years developing and mastering their ability to shape shift to make it their main and most powerful skill. Mergers can take the form of any race or beast, without having seen an individual. They can customize their form to whatever they will, almost like an ameba. Mergers can hold their forms for an entire 24 hours, and do not have to shift back into their true form before taking on a new form.
If any scerg is born with a mutation, or any disease that makes them weaker, they are killed at birth.
The scerg language is commonly called the Shadow Tongue. It is an extremely complex language consisting of growls, hand motion, and hisses through the teeth. No other race can speak the Shadow Tongue without having been a slave in the city of the scergs, though it is unlikely they are still alive now.
