Humans look just as one would think a human would look. If I need to describe it too much more.. Well.. Go look in a mirror. They are the most unique of all races in the fact that their appearances can vary so greatly. From short to tall, slim to bulky and muscular, humans come in a massive amounts of different shapes and sizes. Their skin can be anything from a light pale to even that of a dark brown, almost black. They can have almost any hair color or eye color, but unlike the elf or other Aztersil special races, humans probably wont have blue, green, or any other wild hair colors. Humans are probably the most versatile of the races of Aztersil, for they can be almost anything. This race has the most deviants (aside from the klavden), the most exceptions, and the most differences.
The humans, as a whole, have relations with any race, even the scerg. For humans have been known, and still do, sell their services and their fellows out to the scergs. As the unique individuals all humans are, it is not uncommon to see them getting along well with any of the other races as business partners or even lovers. Humans generally see no reason to get into each others business. They know everyone has their own beliefs and they typically respect that. Some of the other races find the humans difficult to trust seeing how much they tend to differ from each other. One human may seem like a friendly, well rounded guy, but the next human might be out to cause trouble.
The human society is fairly spread out. Small villages dot Aztersil. It is not uncommon to find humans inhabiting even the most desolate of areas. As they are the largest and most common race seen in Aztersil, most of the human cities or villages will have their own forms of government or rules, tho they all tend to centralize around laws of the central human empire of Nayles.
Due to the humans being the only 'mortal' race found in Aztersil, many of the other races will mock a human for his short life. 100 years could be another races childhood, and yet a human is lucky to live that long. Also, due to the fact they do not have as long in life to gain knowledge, many look down on them as uneducated. Thus giving the humans the name of Short Lived Fools.
There is no one definable human personality. The human personality is commonly viewed as looking out for number one. They can be shy, outgoing, loyal, overzealous, spontaneous, devious, creative, aggressive, cruel, or even evil. A human could appear to be the sweetest person, then turn around and slit your throat the next second. Or they can be truly loving, nurturing, and protective, and mean it. It usually depends on how that person was raised and who they were raised by as to how they act towards others. Some consider it human nature to be greedy as most are looking out for only one thing, often times themselves- tho not always the case. Humans are so vastly different from each other as most feel the need to stand out and be someone no one else is. As a whole, most humans have fairly large egos and look for ways to prove themselves to others as being just as important as the other races and people of Aztersil.
The human gods are some of the most powerful in all of Aztersil. There are two gods to the humans. There is a god of elements, who grants many powers to his followers. Then there is a god of the emotions. His power is very deep indeed.
- Elements: The god of the elements offers many chains for his people to follow. The most interesting part of this god, is he does not only cater to the priests as do most of the other gods in Aztersil. Understanding that his human followers only have a bare 100 years upon the world, he grants the non-priests power as well. There are four elements he offers, fire, water, earth(nature included), and air. To the priests, he offers spells of these elements. To the other followers, he offers an even more interesting piece, an ability. The ability can often affect the human's appearance. A human imbued with the power of fire, and create and control the element to his will, though there will be some part of his form which is marked by the element. Same with all other elements. This god is neither good nor evil, and offers his powers to all followers, no matter what their personality.
- Emotions: The followers of the god of emotions can find themselves imbued with the ability to read the emotions of people, and thus their true feelings. They will know when someone is lying, telling the truth, or even just not telling the whole story. An unfortunate side effect of this ability, is those with this ability tend to absorb the emotions of those around them. They will feel sad if there is someone sad near them, happy if someone happy in near them and so on. They also tend to take on the personality of those with strong emotions near them. Because of this, they can become evil at the turn of a thought, or good in the same manner.

Humans are known for their ability to become masters of almost anything. Though they can only master one skill, they are sure to do it well. They have the shortest lives of all the races, and because of this tend to be able to master one skill.
Humans are also the most fragile of all the races. The fact that they are mortal is keenly known to the humans. They have no natural weapons or claws as many other races do. The only thing a human has to rely on is their own physical strength or brain power.
Nayles
A vast island chain located off the coast of Ventnor. This chain is the main human empire. Mild summers, harsh winters, pleasant springs, and sunny autumns can all be found at the same time in different parts of Nayles. The coast of most of these islands is abrupt and rocky with no bays. Each of the islands are connected by marshes and sharp coral reefs.
Humans have the shortest life of all the races in Aztersil. The average human dies of old age in their 90s. Humans are seen as adults at the age of 16, and are at their fullest at about their 20s and 30s.
These classes are unique to the humans only.
- Elementals: Those who have mastered the elemental ability, and can control one element to it's full potential. Their emotions tend to be linked to their element. Fire is aggressive and spontaneous. Water is slow and calm. Earth is hard and slow to change. Air is evasive and hard to catch.
The human language is the most common spoken in Aztersil, and because of this it is called Common.
